Postdoc position available
/We are looking for excellent, enthusiastic and self-motivated researchers with good communication skills to join our research team. Together, we want to understand phase separation in complex environment, which is for instance relevant for understanding how cells organize their interior.
The successful candidate will develop a theory for phase separation of (visco-)elastic matter. The goal is a description of the dynamics of droplets forming in an elastic gel as well as the formation of gel-like droplets in a liquid solvent. In these projects, analytical insight from simple systems will be combined with numerical simulations of coarse-grained models to arrive at descriptions valid for realistic systems investigated by our experimental collaborators.
We are offering excellent working conditions in a highly international and interdisciplinary research environment. The postdoctoral position is limited to two years with the possibility of extension. The starting date is flexible, but should start as soon as possible.
