Welcome Estefania

I’m happy to announce that Estefania Vidal Henriquez has joined our group as a postdoc. Estefania came to our institute from Chile in 2015, when she started working on her PhD with Azam Gholami in the department of Eberhard Bodenschatz. She did an impressive theoretical analysis on the cAMP signaling system of Dictyostelium, showing that cells can self-organize into centers for the experimentally observed patterns. Her experience in analyzing non-linear partial differential equations will also be helpful in our group, where she will analyze the collective behavior of droplets forming in an elastic environment.
