ERC Consolidator Grant awarded

We are happy to announce that we got awarded an ERC Consolidator Grant, which will fuel our group for the next five years. We will soon hire several postdocs and Ph.D. students to push forward our research program on phase separation in cells and in particular on how cells regulate biomolecular condensates. Broadly speaking, we will use physical theories to elucidate how complex material properties affect the dynamics of droplets and how those droplets interact with the complex cellular environment. We will offer multiple projects that almost all combined theoretical analysis with close collaborations with biologists.
